What is Profit First?
The Basics of Profit First
The GAAP formula for determining profit is Sales – Expenses = Profit. Unfortunately, in this formula, profit is a rare left over, something that is hopefully a nice surprise at the end of the year. Which is why, in Profit First, we change the formula to:
Sales-Profit=Expenses
Logically, the math is the same, but from the standpoint of the entrepreneur’s behavior, it is radically different. With Profit First, you take a predetermined percentage of profit from every sale first, and only the remainder is available for expenses.
Profit First leverages your habits to create more profit in your business. It manages your cash flow in such a way that controls your spending and sets aside money for profit and other obligations. Profit First makes profit a certainty.

Profit First allocates money to different accounts (the profit account first) on a regular schedule. This way you can see the actual portion of income that is available to use for expenses and your profit account is constantly growing.

What is Profit First?
Simply put, Profit First is a system to help you automate your cash flow so that you can:

How is the course formatted?
There are 3 main cornerstones of this course:

6 Live Classes: Once a week, you will join a live Zoom call with Bill (your instructor) and 9 other business owners to learn about Profit First and how to implement it.
- Each class has a duration of 60-90 minutes
- 3 Private Coaching Calls: you will have the opportunity to schedule 3 private Zoom meetings with Bill between classes in order to customize Profit First for your business and go over any specific questions/concerns you may have.

Action Items and Resources: During the live classes, you will receive action items that Bill wants you to complete before the next class.
- To help you remember and to provide you with the tools to complete these action items, you will have your own login for our Permanent Profitability Program Membership site.

How long is the course?
This course is a total of 8 weeks. There will be 6 live Zoom classes, once a week, with a one-week break between classes 2-3. Each class is 60-90 minutes in duration.
You will also be able to schedule 3 private coaching sessions with Bill throughout the course so that you can customize the Profit First system for your business and address specific questions and concerns.

How many people will be in the group course?
We want to ensure that even though you will be attending the classes with other business owners, you still receive the attention and support that you need to implement Profit First in your business. Which is why we cap each session at 10 people.
Each person in the course is a fellow business owner, and we hope to create a community of support and accountability as we all implement Profit First together.
How does payment work?
Total cost of the course if $2,995, paid in one or two installments.
If you pay in two installments, you will reserve your seat by paying the first half (link in the buttons above).The second payment will be due within one week of the course start date.
If you choose to pay in one installment, you will pay the full amount at once.
Discounts will be applied according to how you choose to pay. Ex.) if you have a $500 discount and choose to pay in two installments, it will be applied as $250 off each payment.
This contents in the course are usually valued at over $5,000, but you are receiving it at a major discount because we feel that teaching Profit First should be available to all business owners!

What if I can't attend all the live classes?
Though we encourage you to do your best to attend every live class, we understand that you have a business to run! All classes will be recorded and added to the membership portal for you to watch at your own convenience. If you miss a class, you can login there and watch it before the next week.
The portal provides reminders about classes, ways to schedule your private coaching sessions, and all the resources you'll need to implement Profit First in your business--all in a one-stop shop!
